A Letter From The President
Ted Mullennix, Founder,
President & CEO
Ennix, Incorporated
Ennix has been taking wastewater treatment
to the next level in maintenance efficiency and cost savings for more than half a decade.
Our exclusive BioServicesm offers todays most effective and
affordable solution to the problems of odor, sludge processing and grease control that
typically plague the wastewater industry. Ours is the first company to combine
proprietary, proven biological products with a proprietary application system and a
consultative staff of wastewater professionals. This combination allows Ennix to provide
consistent, affordable results which in turn enables Ennix to back all of our products and
services with performance guarantees.
We recognize that biological action is how
Nature ultimately cleans and recycles organic wastes in Earths closed-looped
environment. Ennix, through years of hands-on experience and scientific analysis has
developed advanced microbial formulas that accelerate and concentrate Earths natural
recycling process for the specific benefit of wastewater pollution control systems.
Ennix uses the power of Mother Nature to
achieve spectacular results in very short time periods without negative environmental or
hazardous side effects. The microorganisms we use have all been tested and approved by the
US Government as benign and safe for humans.
Our advanced biotechnology, automated
application systems and professional wastewater staff ensure the best result for your
facility. So whether its sludge reduction, odor control or grease destruction, Ennix
guarantees dramatic results that are safe, swift and affordable. We look forward to
working with you.

Current Events @ Ennix, Incorporated
-New Location
Summer was a busy time for Ennix Incorporated headquarters as we
relocated from our offices in Newport Beach, California to beautiful Big Bear Lake,
California. Big Bear Lake is located at nearly 7,000 feet above sea level in the San
Bernardino mountain range of Southern California. Our little spot on the map has been
unusually newsworthy lately. Recently one of the largest wildfires of the season raged
nearby. Though the fire was near our offices, the wind directions were in our favor
we did not have to contend with any smoke or ash. And just last month we rocked and rolled
with the force of a 7.1 earthquake centered in the desert just at the base of our
mountain. There is never a dull moment in mountain living!
Likewise, there is never a dull moment in our growing business,
although the flurry of activity associated with our move has settled down. We have
unpacked all of our boxes, hooked up all of our computers and are fully operational in our
new locale. Please check your records and be sure our address and telephone information
are listed correctly.

Quarter Valley Sanitary, Indio, CAAnother Bio-Service Success Story 1,000 Tons of Solids
Removed in Just 120 Days!
Just last May, Valley Sanitary faced the unenviable
task of cleaning up a 6.5 surface acre, 24 million-gallon pond that, over a ten year
period, had become 90% filled with sludge. As a risk-free alternative to expensive
dredging, Valley Sanitary signed up for Ennix Incorporated performance-guaranteed BioServicesm
bio-remediation program and, as is typical for this unique service, results have
exceeded performance specifications and expectations. The following graph illustrates the
positive results achieved after just 120 days of treatment:
Ennix unique Bio-formulas were applied to the pond at Valley Sanitary to
establish synergistic conditions similar to those which would occur in a natural lagoon.
In the top and middle layers, aerobic and facultative organisms begin their metabolism and
digestive processes by utilizing molecular oxygen in the water and atmosphere.
Digestion of organic compounds then produces organic acids, alcohol and sugar to feed the
facultative and obligate anaerobic digestion process in the bottom layer. This synergistic
process produces predominantly carbon dioxide, water and target enzymes for sustaining the
full-cycle biological activity. It also provides alkalinity and pH control and maintains
positive dissolved oxygen levels. The chart below depicts the dramatic reduction in
average sludge depth which occurred at Valley Sanitary in 120 days:

Note: All Ennix formulas comply with the Toxic Substance Control Act
(TCSA) and use only ATCC Class I organisms that are certified as naturally occurring,
non-toxic, non-mutagenic, non-opportunistic and non-pathogenic. They cannot harm
personnel, equipment or plant processes. Ennix bacterial strains are 100% natural and are
destroyed in plant effluent by standard sterilization methods such as chlorine, UV light,
sulfur dioxide and ozone.

With Ralston Purina in Brazil
Ennix Incorporated has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement for the
hog, dairy, septic and aquaculture markets in Brazil through Ralston Purina of Brazil.
Purina is Brazils largest distributor of commercial animal feeds as well as animal
health aids.
Brazils annual pork production,
according to the 1997 World Almanac and Fact Book is 75 million hogs. Sows and hogs are
housed at thousands of small farms. As in any intensive feeding operation, manure from
these animals produces odor control and solid disposal problems as well as bacterial and
nutrient pollution of groundwater and waterways.
Brazilian environmental regulations mandate
treatment of the wastewater to meet specific discharge standards. In field tests conducted
at various locations in Brazil including five major pork producing companies, the Ennix
Incorporated product, Lagoon Digestertm, dramatically reduced
odors, sludge, pathogenic bacteria and nutrient pollutants.
